The MilSim West Map Pouch was developed to solve an existing need for MilSim West cadre and players in leadership positions. Each map provided at MilSim West events is printed off on a standard 8x11 piece of paper. That is big enough for most situations, however when you try and use the map for briefings it's just too small. Printing off larger maps helped, but then inclement weather and constant use would destroy them after a weekend. 

The MilSim West Map Pouch has a Multicam back with a clear vinyl front (allowing you to write and erase on the map with alcohol and grease pens). The pocket will accept maps, or other documents, up to 16x22" - roughly four times the size of a standard 8x11 piece of paper. This allows you to easily scale up existing 8x11 maps, or alternatively placing four different maps inside (such as maps of four different objectives). Additionally, there is a tie down point in the top corner allowing you to tie the map pouch off to your person preventing loss.

When folded in fourths the map pouch is the perfect size for your cargo pocket on your pants, one of the pouches on the MilSim West Claymore bag, or even plate pockets on chest rigs.
